Client: Kitselas First Nation
Project: Harvest Kick-Off Festival (2025)
This t-shirt was designed for Kitselas First Nation’s annual Harvest Kick-Off Festival, an event that celebrates the return of the salmon and the community’s deep connection to land and water. The 2025 theme, Climate Change, is reflected through the depiction of the five salmon species: sockeye, chum, coho, pink, and chinook, which are shown in their various life stages to represent the interconnected cycles of life and renewal.
On the front, a salmon silhouette is filled with locally rooted plants and berries, symbolizing abundance and resilience, while the back highlights Kitselas’ guiding values: Respect, Preserve, and Protect. The t-shirt was printed locally through SilverTip Promotions.
